Badminton Avenue ("we", "us", "our") operates the website badmintonavenue.com (the "Store"). The Store is the online pro-shop of Bay Badminton Center. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from the Store, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Store, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order or create an account, we collect:

  • Name, billing and shipping address, email address, and phone number
  • Order details (products purchased, amounts, delivery instructions)
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Shopify and our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems

When you browse the Store, we automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information, IP address, time zone, and cookie identifiers
  • Pages and products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Store (via Shopify analytics and Google Analytics)

When you interact with optional features, we collect:

  • Email address when you subscribe to our mailing list
  • Reviews, photos, and ratings you submit (displayed publicly with your review)
  • Loyalty program activity (points, rewards) if you join S Loyalty
  • Product options and messages you send us through contact forms or email

2. How we use your information

  • To fulfill orders: process payment, arrange shipping, provide invoices and order confirmations, and handle returns and exchanges
  • To communicate with you about orders, pickups, and customer-service requests
  • To screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  • To operate the loyalty program and review features you choose to use

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the Store, including:

  • Shopify — hosts the Store and processes orders and payments
  • Payment processors (e.g. Shop Pay, PayPal, card networks) — to take payment
  • Shipping carriers (e.g. UPS, USPS, FedEx) — to deliver your order
  • App providers that power features on the Store, such as reviews (Loox), loyalty (S Loyalty), and product options (Hulkapps)
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics) — to measure Store usage

We may also share information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights.

We keep order information for our records (including tax and accounting requirements) unless and until you ask us to delete it, where the law allows. Marketing subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

  • Ask us to correct or delete it
